5+ years in subscription growth / monetization / IAP (3+ years absolute minimum only if highly focused and fast-learning). Proven track record in freemium consumer apps (paywall dynamics), ideally “vitamin” rather than “painkiller” products. Strategic understanding of subscription business mechanics and growth tactics across the funnel. Experience building or scaling subscriptions from early stages (foundational setup through next-step growth levers like tiering/value). Strong analytics skills: ability to interpret data, create coherent narratives, and translate insights into prioritized actions. Operational expertise with RevenueCat (or equivalent) and paywall experimentation/targeting. Excellent project and stakeholder management in complex, multi-market contexts. High ownership: hands-on, self-driven, resilient, and comfortable doing the majority of execution personally. Why Jodel

Why we need you

Jodel is looking for a senior, hands-on Subscription Growth Manager to own and scale our in-app purchase (IAP) and subscription business from significant 7-figure ARR to 8-figures. You will drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives (e.g. tiering, pricing, packaging), regular promotions, data-led iteration and execution in RevenueCat, and cross-functional initiatives (esp. product). This role requires someone who has done it before in a freemium, “vitamin” consumer app context and can stay focused amid speed, noise, and changing priorities. Your Mission

Own subscription and paywall performance end-to-end: strategy, execution, measurement, and iteration. Operate RevenueCat: set up products, paywalls, targeting, and experiments; monitor key metrics and troubleshoot performance changes. Build and maintain a clear analytical view of performance drivers (conversion, retention, ARPU/LTV, pricing, FX effects, cohort behavior). Identify and prioritize the highest-impact growth levers; avoid low-signal “rabbit holes” through strong focus and framing. Lead complex initiatives across placements, clients, and geographies (e.g., tiering, value packaging, new pricing/ offer structures). Drive stakeholder alignment across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Leadership, and the broader team; communicate clearly, ask for support early, and push back when focus is at risk. Contribute to subscription foundations: ensure tooling and measurement are sufficient; recommend additional tools/processes when needed while staying pragmatic.
