About the Role We are looking for a
Sales Engineer – Punch Tooling
to drive sales of punch tooling throughout the USMCA markets. This role requires close consultation with customers during both machine sales projects and after‑sales support. You will serve as the technical expert for punch tooling, traveling to customer sites to understand their needs and supporting the field sales team with deep product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as an expert in punch tooling and its applications.
Partner with main product sales and services teams to provide tooling expertise.
Support design engineers in creating tooling for unique customer applications.
Act as the subject matter expert while collaborating with product management to grow tooling sales.
Develop product information and resources tailored to the USMCA market.
Contribute to standardized processes for tooling sales.
Maintain accurate pipeline data and track progress toward sales targets.
Work closely with the tooling sales manager to achieve sales goals.
Experience & Skills
Strong technical and sales background with extensive experience in sheet metal fabrication, specifically punch technology.
Deep understanding of punching applications and tool design.
Familiarity with punch equipment operation and programming software is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints, CAD files, and product specifications.
Excellent verbal and written communication, along with strong negotiation skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Experience with SolidWorks, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Education
Minimum of 5 years of technical experience required.
