Support the contracts team

Essential Duties

Manage enterprise-wide contracts through full contract lifecycle from concept through contract negotiation, creation, and execution.

Monitor contract status post-execution, ensuring timely renewals.

Support management of contract management software, including adjustments to user experience and workflows as necessary.

Assist in developing and improving contract management processes and templates.

Manage inbound internal inquiries to Contracts Team inbox, independently responding to internal business owner requests.

Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.

Create and maintain reporting, including contract review volumes and service level thresholds.

Ensure compliance with company policies.

Collaborate with internal teams across the organization as internal clients, as well as with partners across Legal, Procurement, and Finance, to ensure a seamless contracts experience.

As necessary, assist with legal due diligence and document maintenance with potential business opportunities.

Other duties/projects as assigned.

Experience with use of bots and AI in contract review preferred.

Strong work ethic and ability to gracefully manage deadline pressure.

Ability to work independently.

Work Experience:

At least three to five years’ relevant work experience delivering high level contracts administration or other legal support, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required

Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise. For most roles travel would not be common. Travel may involve plane, car or metro. In accordance with ADA policies, reasonable accommodations regarding travel limitations can be provided. Travel will be more common for roles such as Account Executives (25 - 50%), senior leaders (10 – 20%) or Capella Core Faculty (5 – 10%).

Ability to work onsite in Corporate or Campus location (in a typical office environment) may be required based on role. If so, this would include being mobile within the office, including movement from floor-to-floor using elevators or stairs.

If offsite or hybrid role, must have access to work in setting which enables meeting all requirements of the role (including privacy, reliable internet access, phone, ability to video conference, etc.) at a remote location.

Must be able to meet critical thinking and problem solving aspects aligned to job duties, as well as effectively communicating with co-workers.

$82,800.00 - $124,200.00 - Salary
