POSITION SUMMARY:
Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Lending Credit Analyst, where you will be instrumental in supporting lenders with credit underwriting for both new and existing commercial loan clients. In this role, you will conduct in-depth financial analysis for all lending opportunities, prepare comprehensive credit approval and modification requests for the loan committee, and perform annual credit reviews as necessary. Your expertise will ensure adherence to our organization's credit policies and facilitate timely updates of clients' financial information. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze detailed financial data, including financial statements and agency reports, for both prospective and active borrowing accounts, crafting insightful reports on their short and long-term financial health. Provide informed recommendations to Loan Officers on loan approvals/denials, presenting well-documented loan submissions. Identify and interpret financial trends while analyzing key financial ratios, such as cash flow to debt service and debt-to-equity. Document all financial analyses meticulously through spreadsheets and articulate written credit memorandums. Propose appropriate loan grades following thorough credit analysis and documentation review. Facilitate coordination of specific departmental tasks to ensure efficient information flow. Generate assigned reports to support credit analysis processes. Conduct annual reviews of loan relationships to maintain current insights into client statuses. Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Credit Analyst within a bank or credit union. BENEFITS: Competitive compensation package.
