The Role At Stukent, we refer to our Account Executive team as Course Consultants. Course Consultants are driven by Stukent’s mission and help educators access the best instructional resources available. They are goal-oriented and are inspired by making a difference in education.
Our Course Consultants are charged with being the “CEO” of their region. To do this well, they need to communicate and collaborate well with their revenue team, which includes members of the Sales Support and Customer Success Team.
The ideal candidate is humble, hard-working, a self-starter, and an excellent communicator. They are driven to improve the educator experience and obsessed with learning and sharing insights. They are persistent and perceptive, collaborative and kind, detail-oriented and diligent, strategic, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. Most importantly, they embrace learning, deliver results, work hard, and have fun along the way!
Typical Job Duties Sales Performance
Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals, including demos presented, deals closed, and revenue generated.
Guide educators through the full sales cycle, including consistent, detailed follow-up, effective communication, and accurate CRM data management.
Sales Execution
Conduct effective product demos of Stukent’s CTE platform and content for small, medium, and large schools and districts.
Customize presentations, provide pricing, discuss budgets, and close new business.
Apply situational awareness to identify the right solution for teachers and districts.
Drive cross-sell opportunities - Partner with the Customer Success Manager (CSM) to generate cross-sell opportunities across disciplines, including Agriculture, Hospitality/Tourism, and Business.
General Responsibilities
Manage a sales Pipeline, including booking sales appointments in Districts where there is already traction that the CC is owning.
Attend educational conferences, help set up the booth, pitch the product to attendees, and give presentations/workshops.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Proven success in sales, preferably in small/medium-sized organizations.
Strong technical literacy and comfort with digital platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in organization, time management, and prioritization of multiple tasks
Professional, coachable, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
Ability to conduct discovery conversations and deliver engaging product demos
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (Salesforce preferred)
