Seeking a full-time or PRN Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) for a psychiatric hospital specializing in behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults.
The CTRS will provide Recreational Therapy through assessments, treatment planning, and group/individual interventions to promote positive behavioral, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical changes.
Responsibilities include establishing treatment goals, evaluating patient progress, documenting outcomes, and participating in treatment team conferences.
Full-time role includes serving as a clinical instructor and role model, with a flexible schedule to meet program needs.
Qualifications
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) by NCTRC
Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from an approved program
Preferred experience in psychiatric settings
