Senior Marketing Specialist
to assist with leading marketing strategy, digital engagement, community involvement and brand initiatives in the Fargo market. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketer who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution across digital channels, campaigns, events, and community partnerships.
What You'll Do Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
Develop and execute marketing and advertising campaigns that support organizational growth, lead generation, and member engagement.
Assist with the annual marketing plan and budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Track and report campaign performance, ROI, and key metrics to leadership.
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
Manage digital advertising across Google and Meta platforms to generate qualified leads and connect members with the right financial solutions.
Manage platforms supporting digital lead generation and loan origination.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and refine campaign strategies.
CRM & Member Communications
Manage and utilize the Credit Union's CRM platform to deliver targeted communications via email, direct mail, phone, and text.
Create compelling, compliant messaging that strengthens member relationships and drives product adoption.
Website & Digital Experience
Manage the Credit Union and CUSO websites, including content, forms, SEO best practices, and analytics.
Ensure effective, accurate, and user-friendly online member experience.
Member Insights & Surveys
Oversee the survey platform to gather and analyze member feedback and satisfaction data.
Translate insights into actionable marketing strategies and service improvements.
Community Engagement & Events
Coordinate corporate giving, sponsorships, and community involvement initiatives.
Plan and execute member, employee, and community events, including budgeting, logistics, and marketing.
Coordinate employee volunteer opportunities and community outreach activities.
Brand & Internal Collaboration
Ensure consistent, complaint-brand messaging across branches and all marketing channels.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Retail, Mortgage, Commercial/Ag, Compliance, and Product Development) to create integrated marketing initiatives.
Serve as a marketing resource for internal departments and CUSO entities.
Public Relations & Communications
Serve as a media contact and write news releases as needed.
Draft communications for business continuity and member notifications.
Review and approve marketing content for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
What You Bring
Minimum five years of progressive experience in marketing, digital marketing, advertising, or related fields, with demonstrated success in campaign strategy and execution.
Experience with CRM platforms, email marketing, digital advertising, website content management systems, and data analytics.
Strong copywriting, editing, and communication skills with working knowledge of AP style.
Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, vendors, and deadlines in a regulated or complex environment.
Event planning and community engagement experience, including sponsorships and volunteer initiatives.
Detail-oriented, creative, self-motivated, and highly organized with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Experience in financial services or a credit union environment is preferred but not required.
