Job Summary The Event Lead is responsible for assisting in the successful sale and execution of private and corporate events. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring seamless coordination between clients and internal teams. The Event Lead helps oversees event execution—from ordering supplies, keeping inventory, hiring catering staff, administrative work, to other duties—while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This position requires strong organizational skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.

Roles and Responsibilities

Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building.

Manage day of event activities. This includes delegating tasks to event staff, setting up, break down, and event execution.

Keep accurate inventory counts of event supplies.

Manage Catering staffing, event supply ordering, and other outside vendors.

Maintain and organize shared event spaces at all times.

Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.

Lead, train, and support event staff, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

Oversee the smooth execution of all events by coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

Conduct site tours and presentations for prospective clients.

Maintain accurate records of leads and client communications in the CRM system.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Resolve client concerns in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Other duties that may come up on a situational basis.

Skills and Abilities

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide event coordinators and staff.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship–building abilities.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.

Sales-driven mindset with proven ability to achieve and exceed revenue goals.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Catering and Events experience

Physical Requirements

Conducts work in a sitting position; however, job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting.

Requires frequent operations of a variety of office machines.

Communication is usually cooperative in nature, with somewhat frequent conflicts requiring confrontation and appropriate use of tact.

Hourly Rate: USD$21.00/hr. PLUS events tips.
