We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused
Collision Estimator
to support our growing collision repair operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and inspect damaged vehicles to accurately assess the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage.
Prepare detailed, precise repair estimates including labor, parts, materials, and paint costs using industry-standard software (experience with CCC One or similar preferred).
Communicate clearly with customers about damage findings, repair processes, timelines, and costs while building trust and ensuring satisfaction.
Work directly with insurance adjusters and companies to review claims, submit supplements, and secure approvals to keep work flowing in timely manner.
Ensure supplements are submitted correctly and promptly for timely payments.
Coordinate with the collision repair team to ensure smooth workflow from estimate to completion.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and follow-up throughout the repair process.
Identify additional repairs and services when appropriate.
Quality control on completed jobs to ensure quality before delivery.
Ability to assist customers with warranty concerns, learn the warranty processes for dealer repairs and submittals.
Understand KPI’s and utilize parts trader when needed for DRP estimates and guidelines.
Assist with workflow, handle any customer related issues promptly and professionally.
Work as a Team with all other areas of the dealership and be an advocate for our customers and help coordinate other work requested or needed in other departments.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Collision Estimator, Auto Body Estimator, or similar role in a collision repair environment (preferred; will consider strong candidates with related automotive and excellent customer experience).
Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair procedures, and estimating software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical details in a clear, friendly manner.
Detail-oriented with strong math and analytical abilities.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
