Position Description The Career Services and Internship office (CSI) at Bridgewater State University is now accepting applications for a
Marketing and Communications Assistant
for the Spring 2026 semester. This opportunity is designed for students passionate about marketing, communications, graphic design, and social media who want hands‑on experience in a collaborative, professional environment.
About the Role
As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will be a key member of our marketing team, contributing to a wide range of initiatives that enhance and maintain the Career Services and Internship office brand. This position offers exposure to digital marketing, branding, content creation, graphic design, and social media management.
Please Note:
This position is available only during the Spring semester. Students are not eligible to work during summer or semester breaks.
The position requires approximately 10 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge in Canva and prior experience managing social media accounts is highly preferred.
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, English, or a related field.
Proficient in Canva, with prior experience managing social media accounts strongly preferred.
Enthusiastic about taking on new projects and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and platforms as needed.
