Marketing & Communications Coordinator (In-Person, Early Career) Schedule: Full-time, on-site with regular community and jobsite travel
About the Role EnergiSystems is looking for someone at the start of their marketing career—someone who’s excited to learn, grow, and get hands‑on experience across events, recruitment marketing, branding, and community engagement. This is not a remote digital‑marketing strategist role. It’s an in‑person, active, people‑focused position where you’ll spend time at career fairs, trade shows, jobsites, and company events.
If you enjoy talking with people, setting up displays, taking photos, and helping tell the story of a growing Montana company, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Do Recruitment & Community Engagement
Represent EnergiSystems at career fairs, trade shows, and community events
Set up and tear down event booths, displays, and materials
Engage with candidates and community members face‑to‑face
Support hiring managers with job postings and initial candidate outreach
Marketing & Communications
Capture jobsite photos and videos for use in marketing materials
Create basic graphics and content using tools like Canva
Assist with social media posts, website updates, and internal communications
Help maintain brand consistency across materials and platforms
General Support
Coordinate marketing materials, signage, and promotional items
Assist with company events and employee engagement activities
Support projects that strengthen our employer brand and community presence
Who You Are Required
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
OR equivalent experience through internships, student projects, or volunteer work
Comfortable interacting with people in person
Willing to travel locally for events and jobsite visits
Interested in learning marketing fundamentals and growing your skills
Preferred (Not Required)
0–2 years of marketing or communications experience
Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, or basic content creation
Experience helping with events, fairs, or community outreach
Interest in photography or videography
Why This Role Is a Great Fit
You want real‑world experience, not just a desk job
You enjoy being active, hands‑on, and out in the community
You want mentorship and the chance to build a broad marketing portfolio
You’re excited to help shape the marketing function of a growing company
This is a fully in‑person role based in Billings. You’ll regularly travel to jobsites, schools, and event locations. Some lifting and physical setup is part of the job.
We deeply value our employees and recognize that their dedication and talent drive our success. Providing comprehensive benefits is our way of supporting their well‑being and showing appreciation for their commitment to our mission. By investing in our team, we foster a positive environment where everyone can thrive both professionally and personally.
