Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for hospital pharmacy services.
- Manage inpatient pharmacy operations to optimize medication management and patient care outcomes.
- Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop protocols and improve medication safety initiatives.
- Oversee staff training, performance evaluations, and resource management to maintain pharmacy standards.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and continuous improvement processes.
Qualifications / Desired Experience
- Pharmacist license with eligibility to practice in South Carolina.
- Proven experience as Director of Pharmacy or similar leadership role within a hospital setting.
- In-depth knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, inpatient medication management, and regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience serving as Pharmacist in Charge is essential.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and implement policies that promote safe medication practices.
