
Overview
This is a senior leadership position for a teen-based residential treatment center, which also offers IOP-level care. This role must be held by a licensed clinician capable of supervising associate therapists. The clinical director will have program oversight in collaboration with the program director, billing/ur, HR, nursing, outreach, and admissions. A minimum of 3 years' experience in adolescent behavioral health in a for-profit business is required.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family or a related field.
- Valid licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC with the CEU that allows for clinical supervision.
- Proven experience in clinical supervision or leadership roles within mental health settings.
- Strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and their application in treatment.
- Must have been licensed for a minimum of 2 years.
- Background in adolescent mental health is extremely desirable.
- Must have IOP and residential treatment experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapy, tailored to the needs of clients in residential treatment and outpatient programs.
- Oversee and guide the clinical team, offering mentorship to maintain a cohesive and effective therapeutic approach.
- Collaborate closely with the COO and other leadership to develop, implement, and refine clinical programming that addresses the needs of teens struggling with mental health and dual diagnosis.
- Facilitate communication with families, ensuring they are well-informed, supported, and involved in the treatment process.
- Conduct clinical assessments and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans.
- Lead family support sessions and provide psychoeducation to help families understand and support the treatment process.
- Participate in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss client progress and update treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to clinical care.
- Promote a positive and stable therapeutic milieu, addressing client needs and providing crisis intervention when required.
- Focuses on direct client care and clinical support.
- Leads and runs clinical groups for clients.
- Manages and facilitates family communication and coaching.
- Provides support to therapists in clinical needs and guidance.
- Engages in milieu support to ensure a healthy environment for clients.
- Prioritizes client motivation and relationship-building.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
