MEMBER SERVICE REP II

Position Type: Hourly, Non-Management

Role:

Assists new and existing members with their financial needs, opens and closes various types of accounts, processes transactions, resolves account problems, handle member needs with debit and credit cards. Assist member with CD's, IRA's, and Loan Applications. Provides assistance and information regarding other products and services of the Credit Union.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Assists members with opening and closing accounts, processes transactions, handle member needs with debit and credit cards, and address changes. Resolves member problems, inquiries, or complaints. Refers problems to supervisor as needed, along with recommendations for resolution. Corresponds with or interviews loan applicants; requests credit reports, calculates debt to income ratios, prepares loan requests to present to underwriter for approval. Reviews loans for proper insurance on collateral. Communicate loan decision to member. Takes loan payments.

Identifies opportunities to cross-sell additional products or services to members.

Confers with members by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services.

Maintains accurate member account information on computer system.

Acts as liaison between members and various departments.

Efficiently monitors emails, completes required trainings, stays up to date on credit union promotions, products, and services

Performs other job related duties as assigned.
