This role combines consultative sales with local business development. You will guide families through estate planning and elder law consultations while building referral relationships in the community that create new opportunities. This position is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys accountability, follow-up discipline, and measurable results.
Compensation
Base salary:
$45,000 - $55,000
plus performance bonuses.
Most successful team members earn
$85,000 - $110,000 in year one .
Top performers exceed
$120,000+ .
Responsibilities
• Conduct consultations with prospective clients and confidently guide them to a decision • Maintain disciplined follow-up with prospects who have not yet committed • Build referral relationships with financial advisors, healthcare professionals, social workers, and other community partners • Attend local networking events and meetings to develop new opportunities • Track pipeline, conversions, and referrals using CRM tools • Collaborate with intake and legal teams to ensure an excellent client experience
What a Strong Week Looks Like • Multiple consultations where you guide families to confident decisions • Consistent and organized follow-up activity • In-person meetings or events with referral partners • Clear ownership of your pipeline and performance metrics
Qualifications
• Proven success in a sales role with closing responsibility • Comfortable asking for the business in a consultative manner • Strong relationship-building skills • Highly organized with follow-up and pipeline management • Coachable, resilient, and comfortable with accountability • Strong communication skills with people from all walks of life • Backgrounds in financial services, insurance, consultative sales, or business development do well • Legal experience is not required
