The Marketing Copywriter is responsible for developing clear, compelling, and on-brand copy across all customer-facing marketing channels, including email, SMS, website content, product messaging, and digital campaigns. This role plays a key part in supporting marketing initiatives by ensuring messaging is consistent, emotionally engaging, and aligned with campaign goals and brand voice.

Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, this position works closely with marketing, creative, merchandising, and product development teams to support campaign storytelling, product launches, and ongoing marketing communications. This role will bring the brand voice to life across the full customer journey while supporting both brand storytelling and marketing effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign & Digital Messaging

Write on-brand copy for email marketing, SMS campaigns, website promotions, and digital marketing initiatives Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional messaging across channels Adapt messaging based on channel, audience, and stage of the customer journey Contribute to lifecycle marketing communications, including acquisition, engagement, and retention messaging Ensure copy supports campaign objectives while maintaining brand voice consistency Website & Product Messaging

Write product descriptions, including "Why We Love It" content, that highlight features, inspiration, and customer benefits Support website copy including landing pages, category messaging, promotional banners, and product titles Translate product details, materials, and design intent into clear, customer-focused language Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, creative, merchandising, and product development teams to support campaign execution Collaborate with designers, photographers, and creative partners to ensure copy aligns with visual storytelling Support evolving copy needs across marketing initiatives, e-commerce, and brand projects Brand Voice & Consistency

Maintain consistency in voice across all written content Ensure messaging feels authentic, emotionally engaging, and unmistakably on brand Edit and refine copy for clarity, accuracy, tone, and effectiveness Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related 3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within marketing, e-commerce, or consumer brand environments Experience writing marketing copy across multiple channels (email, SMS, website, campaigns) Experience writing product descriptions or e-commerce copy strongly preferred Retail, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience preferred Ability to write within an established brand voice and adapt tone by channel
