Free Parking The Spirit of the Position: The Customer Service Rep at Long Beach Airport will provide exceptional customer service to all terminals while greeting and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. This position responds to all customer concerns while remaining professional. Principal Job Duties: Will provide excellent and professional customer support at the terminal. Directing customers to their correct gate and form uniform lines. Must have a friendly and can-do attitude. Assist with luggage and arranging wheelchair assistance. Assist in crosswalk, directing to taxi, shuttles, and Lyft areas. Will be stationed at the Airport terminal for entire shift. Need to work unsupervised. Able to approach passengers and offer assistance. Able to designate departure/arrival points for passengers. Must be able to stand/walk for long period of time up to 8 hours. Dealing with all levels of situations, public complaints, and concerns. Maintain all supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area. Provide accurate, valid, and complete information for Daily Report after each shift. Responsible for running any reports related to daily incidents, data or other reports requested by management. Stay in communication with other departments such as security, wheelchair assistance, engineer, etc. with company phone. Other related duties as assigned. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Skills: Ability to communicate professionally and effectively. Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language. Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills. Must have a friendly and can-do attitude. Strong customer service experience is required. Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
