Seasonal Racquet Sports Attendant
Las Campanas is seeking an energetic, service-oriented individual to join our Racquet Sports team as a Seasonal Racquet Sports Attendant. This position runs June 1 through September 1 and supports our busy summer tennis and pickleball season. This is a great opportunity for high school or college players, students home for the summer, or anyone seeking active, outdoor seasonal employment in a premier club environment. Position Overview
The Racquet Sports Attendant delivers an exceptional member experience by supporting daily tennis and pickleball operations. This role focuses on court preparation, casita/pro shop support, light facility upkeep, and being available to assist members and staff during peak play times, tournaments, and special events. What You'll Do Prepare tennis and pickleball courts for daily play (water, towels, balls, equipment). Sweep/line clay tennis courts; clear pickleball courts with blower/broom and ensure courts are debris-free. Restock towels, water, balls, and supplies throughout the day. Set up ball machines for member practice sessions as scheduled. Maintain the casita/pro shop area (coffee, fruit/snacks, cleanliness, restocking). Perform light court/facility upkeep (windscreens, nets, simple fixes; report maintenance needs). Greet members and guests and provide friendly, professional support. Be ready and available to step on court and play with members when needed (e.g., filling in for doubles). Support tournaments, clinics, and special events as scheduled. Complete other duties as assigned. Day 1 Must-Haves (Non-Negotiables) High energy and self-motivation (positive attitude, takes initiative). Strong organization and efficiency (can follow checklists and keep multiple courts "opening-day ready"). Service mindset and strong work ethic (reliable, helpful, member-focused). Ability to play tennis (and pickleball) at an intermediate level or above and step on court with members as needed. Preferred High school tennis player or strong playing background. Prior tennis/racquet facility experience (helpful, not required). Customer service experience (helpful, not required). Physical & Work Environment Primarily outdoor work; extended time in sun/heat/cold as conditions require. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/move for long periods. Schedule Requirements Weekend availability required (at least one weekend day). Seasonal/holiday coverage may be needed based on events (nights generally not required).
