Position Overview
LCS is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented
Senior Associate
to join our growing
Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Advisory
practice. This role is focused on
executing M&A transactions , including buy-side and sell-side
Quality of Earnings (QoE)
engagements, net working capital analyses, and related transaction advisory services. This is an opportunity to get in at the
ground level of a merit-based, entrepreneurial advisory team . Our senior professionals bring deep relationships and industry expertise across multiple verticals, and we work collaboratively to source and execute M&A engagements for new and existing clients. The Senior Associate will play a critical role in
supporting transaction execution , working closely with client executives, internal deal teams, private equity professionals, lenders, legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors. This is a
true transaction advisory role
designed for someone who wants real deal exposure—not a traditional accounting or audit path. What You’ll Actually Do You will be directly involved in the execution of M&A and investment-related engagements, including: Conducting
financial due diligence
on target companies and investment opportunities Performing
Quality of Earnings (QoE)
analyses, including: Revenue and cost analysis Identification of non-recurring, non-operational, and unusual items Analyzing
historical financial statements, projections, KPIs, and trends Preparing
net working capital analyses , debt-like item schedules, and cash flow assessments Performing
variance analysis
and identifying key value drivers, risks, and deal considerations Building and reviewing
transaction-focused financial models , valuations, and sensitivity analyses Assisting in
transaction structuring and negotiation support
based on financial insights Preparing
clear, comprehensive due diligence reports
that highlight findings, risks, and opportunities Participating in
client meetings and presentations , including discussions with senior management and investors Collaborating closely with internal team members and external stakeholders in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Who This Role Is For (Must-Haves) We are intentionally selective and focused on candidates with real transaction experience. You should have: 2–4+ years
of experience in
public accounting and/or transaction advisory Direct QoE / financial due diligence experience strongly preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA license
(active or demonstrated progress toward completion) Strong understanding of: Financial statements and accounting principles Transaction-oriented financial analysis Working capital mechanics and cash flow Advanced
Excel
skills and strong working knowledge of MS Office Ability to synthesize complex financial data into
clear, actionable insights Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing deliverables Proven ability to manage
multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work Preferred (Nice-to-Haves) Meaningful experience in
buy-side and/or sell-side QoE engagements Exposure to
private equity-backed transactions Experience preparing or reviewing
financial models and sensitivity analyses Comfort interacting directly with senior client stakeholders Experience across multiple industries An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping build a growing practice What This Is
