Role Description We are seeking a high-performing

Property Tax Consultant

to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This role offers the flexibility of remote work alongside a collaborative office presence in Southlake, TX.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of property tax management, including assessment reviews, sophisticated valuation analyses, and the accurate reporting of both real and personal property. This is a critical position that requires a blend of analytical rigor and strategic communication to optimize tax liabilities and provide actionable insights to our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

Valuation & Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive property tax assessment reviews and detailed valuation analyses for complex commercial assets.

Appeal Management:

Prepare, file, and track property tax appeals; represent client interests through evidence-based arguments to minimize tax exposure.

Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure the timely and accurate filing of real and personal property tax returns.

Data Optimization:

Leverage industry-leading software and data analysis tools to evaluate property portfolios and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Strategic Advisory:

Provide high-level recommendations to clients regarding tax liabilities and legislative changes.

Collaborative Excellence:

Partner with internal teams and maintain professional, transparent communication with clients and jurisdictional authorities.

Qualifications

Industry Expertise:

Proven experience in Property Tax and Personal Property assessment is essential.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong command of valuation methodologies and a deep understanding of the property tax lifecycle.

Analytical Acumen:

Advanced ability to synthesize complex data sets into concise, evaluative reports.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.

Software Skills:

Proficiency in industry-specific tax software and advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).

Professional Attributes:

Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

Prior background in commercial real estate (CRE) or certified property appraisal is highly advantageous.
