
Job Description
The HR Specialist supports the organization’s people operations by delivering high-quality HR services across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. This role is critical in ensuring a positive employee experience and maintaining efficient HR processes that align with organizational goals. Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies. Post job openings, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and support the full lifecycle recruiting process. Coordinate offer letters and pre‑employment documentation. Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience, including orientation, new hire paperwork, and systems setup. Conduct exit interviews and ensure proper offboarding steps are completed. Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist in resolving routine employee relations inquiries and escalating concerns when appropriate. Help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in HRIS systems. Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed. Assist with policy updates, handbook revisions, and audit requirements. Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries. Help with compensation tracking, job description updates, and market data research. Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, OR equivalent experience. Minimum 4 years of HR experience in a generalist or specialist capacity. Knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and HRIS systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in water technology or construction. Experience supporting a rapidly growing or high‑volume hiring environment. Customer service mindset. Problem solving and critical thinking. Adaptability and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Teamwork and collaboration. Initiative and ownership. Work Environment
This position offers a flexible work schedule of 20 hours per week, including one mandatory in‑office day on Tuesday. Ideally, it involves two 8‑hour days and one 4‑hour day. You will work directly with a high‑level HR leader in an international company, supporting a scaling operation and a large ramp project. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
