
Executive Position Located in Central MA with offices in southeastern Massachusetts.
The Director of Electrical Construction is an executive leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction operations, from project planning and execution to delivery and closeout. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The Director of Electrical Construction provides strategic direction, leadership, and operational oversight to project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, driving excellence and efficiency across the organization’s construction portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and technical leadership and direction for all construction projects across the organization. Oversee pre-construction planning, including budgeting, scheduling, risk assessments, and resource allocation. Manage relationships with developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and key stakeholders. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate project performance, cost control, and productivity. Lead, mentor, and develop project management teams to foster a high-performance culture. Drive process improvements, technology adoption, and best practices across construction operations. Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term growth strategies, market expansion, and business development. Resolve complex issues related to contracts, disputes, scheduling conflicts, or regulatory compliance. Represent the company with clients, industry partners, and at relevant events or meetings. Manage current team of 6 project managers. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or Licensed Electrician. 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects from conception to completion. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. In‑depth knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to think strategically while managing day‑to‑day operations effectively. Core Competencies
