
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to join a leading Company located in the Houston, TX surrounding area.
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial ground-up construction projects. This individual will lead on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards from preconstruction through project completion.
Job Responsibilities
Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain schedules and quality expectations.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA and company standards).
Track daily progress, manage schedules, and report to the Project Manager.
Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Conduct regular site meetings and inspections to review progress and resolve issues.
Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
Proven ability to manage ground-up projects and complex construction schedules.
In-depth knowledge of building systems, codes, safety standards, and construction methods.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus.
