Overview
Our client is a leading construction contractor representing a number of manufacturers of outdoor recreation equipment and amenities. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative that is extremely driven by selling a product they can be excited and passionate about within their set/protected territory. As an Outside Sales Rep, you will be prospecting in the field for new prospects as well as building existing relationships. Presentations are made to small and large clients (Lunch and Learns); therefore you must possess strong presentation skills. Candidates must be comfortable selling a complex product as well as a longer sales cycle.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
Min. 3+ years of B2B Outside Sales experience selling products to government, education, housing developments, building and construction industries
Seeking sales backgrounds with experience driving new business and the ability to build on going relationships
Knowledge/understanding of the RFP process a plus
Excellent Presentation skills (lunch and learns to small and large groups)
Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
Excellent Organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent Communication and Time Management skills
Ability to travel within territory
Base Salary $75,000
Expenses: Company Car + expenses & Phone
