CTG is seeking a Technical Writer I to improve existing and develop new technical documentation for manufacturing and engineering teams. The role involves creating clear, accurate, and user-focused documents to support operational and engineering processes.

Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Technical Writing, Engineering, or related science field

Requirements

Develop and improve work instructions, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and job aids Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and operations teams to gather accurate technical information Research and analyze technical information from multiple sources to create comprehensive documentation that meets user needs Review, edit, and proofread documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company style guidelines Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to meet deadlines and quality standards Qualifications

3+ years of technical writing experience; manufacturing environment experience preferred Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); PTC Windchill experience is a plus Ability to understand technical processes; optics knowledge is a plus Excellent written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all documentation Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, adapting to changing project requirements and deadlines Additional Information
