A well-established General Contractor in the DFW area is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join their growing team. This contractor delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across municipal, education, healthcare, and public-sector construction, with a strong reputation for quality, collaboration, and long-term client relationships.
The Role As Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and inspectors to drive successful project execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and schedules
Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
Ensure work is performed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and local codes
Track progress, resolve field issues, and communicate effectively with project teams
Maintain quality control and support timely project delivery
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
Experience on projects within municipal, education, healthcare, or public-sector environments
Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices
Proven ability to lead subcontractors and manage multiple trades on-site
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
OSHA certification preferred
