
We are seeking a
Regional Sales Manager
with a strong background in
Dimensional Metrology and Technical Capital Equipment Sales
to drive growth across a multi-state territory. This role is highly channel-focused and requires a professional who can both
sell directly
and
develop distributor networks
while acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a
multi-state sales territory
with clear revenue targets.
Develop, support, and hold accountability across
12+ distributor / dealer partners .
Conduct
joint sales visits, technical trainings, and product demonstrations
with partners.
Drive pipeline activity through
CRM management, forecasting, and strategic planning .
Present and demonstrate
dimensional metrology systems
to end users and distributors.
Act as a
technical advisor , supporting solution selection and application discussions.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within key verticals.
Core Requirements 1. Dimensional Metrology Experience
Background selling or supporting
optical, vision, force measurement, CMMs, or measurement systems .
Machine vision / motion control experience also highly relevant.
Ability to sell
technical solutions , not just components.
Proven track record in
high-value technical equipment sales .
Experience managing long and consultative sales cycles.
Demonstrated success in:
Growing distributor territories
Training and enabling partner sales teams
Running joint visits and demos
4. Technical & Demonstration Skills
Comfortable being
hands-on with equipment
and leading system demonstrations.
Strong technical acumen; former
Application Engineers transitioning into Sales
are highly encouraged to apply.
5. Territory & CRM Management
Ability to manage large geographic territories effectively.
Consistent use of
CRM tools
for pipeline tracking and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
Senior Territory or Regional Sales Managers in metrology or technical instrumentation.
Application Engineers who have successfully moved into
Sales / Business Development .
Professionals who combine
technical depth, channel strategy, and commercial drive .
