
Baceline Group is the largest owner and operator of small-format, necessity-based Neighborhood Shopping Centers across the United States. We are seeking to fill the position of a Leasing Manager to join our Southwest Regional team. This position will report to Baceline's Sr. Regional Asset Manager and will work closely with our Property Management and Construction Management teams.
Responsibilities The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented leasing professional with strong leasing management experience, skilled in tenant relationship management and lease negotiations. As a Leasing Manager, you will be responsible for:
Tenant Strategy, Expertise & Optimization:
Understand each property’s tenant mix and lease terms, actively manage relationships and site visits to maintain occupancy and retention, monitor expenses and rates, and drive rent growth by optimizing tenant use and expansion opportunities across the portfolio.
Lease Renewals & Documentation:
Manage the leasing pipeline and renewal negotiations, ensure consistent lease terms, and prepare and execute all lease documentation—including new deals, amendments, assignments, and tenant qualifications to support portfolio performance.
Local Market Presence & Expertise:
Build deep knowledge of each property and its surrounding markets by tracking competitors, vacancies, tenant activity, and trends through regular site visits and active participation in industry events.
Regional Asset Manager Support:
Partner with the Regional Asset Manager and third-party brokers to drive new leasing, stay aligned through regular updates, shape property-level strategies and target tenant lists, and support annual budgets and leasing assumptions.
Collaboration with Baceline Departments:
Coordinate construction estimates and regional communication during deals, support tenant transitions to property management, and provide insight and assistance with legal, default, and collections matters as needed.
Desired Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in commercial retail leasing and/or transaction management
Strong attention to detail
Salesforce experience (preferred)
Salary Range $70,000 - $80,000 per year
