An Investment Management Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Asset Management Analyst. This role will follow a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with underwriting teams to onboard newly originated investments, ensuring accurate setup and data integrity.
Conduct monthly valuations of illiquid securities and periodically present findings to the valuation committee.
Perform independent internal valuation analyses, integrating financial statements, deal structures, market data, and other relevant investment factors.
Develop and maintain financial models to monitor issuer performance over time.
Perform other duties, as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial consulting, investment banking, asset management, or a leading public accounting firm.
Solid understanding of debt instruments and capital structures.
Hands‑on experience with debt and equity valuation, three‑statement financial modeling, and in‑depth financial analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; capable of building and manipulating complex financial models.
