
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join our Austin, Texas office. This role supports escrow officers throughout the full lifecycle of residential real estate transactions and plays a critical part in delivering a smooth, accurate, and high-quality closing experience for all parties involved. The Escrow Assistant will assist with opening new escrow and title orders, preparing and distributing opening communications, ordering title commitments, payoffs, tax certificates, HOA documentation, and other required third-party reports, and ensuring all information is accurately entered and maintained in escrow software. This position also supports the preparation of loan packages, coordination of wire transfers and funding-related documentation, final policy disbursement, and file cancellations in accordance with office procedures. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through are essential, as the Escrow Assistant manages multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to technical responsibilities, this role serves as a key point of contact for clients and transaction partners, including lenders, buyers, sellers, real estate agents, attorneys, and insurance companies. The ideal candidate is service-minded, professional, and thrives in a collaborative team environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Prior experience as an escrow assistant is required, along with a working knowledge of escrow and title processes, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and similar tools. The ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to new software systems, and consistently deliver an exceptional client experience is critical.
