Description Trumbull Country Club is a private golf facility in Warren, Ohio seeking a full‑time Golf Course Mechanic to support daily golf course operations through proper equipment maintenance, repair, and setup.

This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and performance of all golf course turf equipment. Trumbull Country Club continues to invest in its operation, including ongoing equipment upgrades and a $2.5 million clubhouse renovation and golf course irrigation system upgrade.

This position is best suited for a self‑motivated professional who takes ownership of their work, values organization, and understands the importance of dependable, well‑maintained equipment.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a turf equipment mechanic, diesel mechanic, or similar mechanical role

Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Welding and light fabrication experience

Ability to work independently and manage priorities

Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate records

Willingness to learn golf‑specific equipment setup, reel grinding, and mower adjustments (training provided as needed)

Valid driver’s license

Ability to perform physical tasks typical of a golf course maintenance shop

Compensation Up to $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. No overtime. Partial health reimbursement. No medical insurance or 401(k).
