Associate, Operations Consulting Group Lone Pine Capital LLC Position Summary: The Operations Consulting Group ("OCG") is a team that provides operational support, on a rotational basis, across Lone Pine’s business teams. Such departments will comprise legal & compliance, fund accounting, management company accounting, tax, financial reporting, technology, human resources, valuation, business development, and investor relations. The OCG team is led by the Manager of the Operations Consulting Group, who reports into the Managing Director, Human Resources & Facilities and the Manager, Human Resources & Facilities.
Job Responsibilities: The Associate role operates in a rotational, project-based model, with rotations lasting for an assigned period of time ranging from several weeks to six months. When working within a specified department, the Associate will contribute to departmental priorities that require judgment, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. The Associate will continue to move through various operational departments on a rotating basis throughout the year, based on need, requiring the ability to adapt quickly to new subject matter and environments, delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Required Skills and Background:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business required; advanced degree (MBA) a plus
•Entry‑level role is intended for students graduating in 2026
•Strong technical aptitude, including comfort working across systems and data sets
•Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
•Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information, synthesize findings, and support informed decision‑making
•Working knowledge of AI tools and platforms, with the ability to apply them effectively in day‑to‑day workflows
•Stellar written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally
•Self‑motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to learn
•Ability to exercise discretion, particularly in dealing with confidential matters/materials
•Team‑oriented mindset with a demonstrated interest and ability to contribute meaningfully and collaboratively with others, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
•Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism and integrity
