Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and experience in real estate transactions, real estate law, title, financing, escrow, and real estate finance. Responsibilities
Assisting attorneys in all aspects of real estate transactions, from the initial drafting of documents to closing.
Reviewing and analyzing title, survey, and other due diligence materials.
Preparing and managing closing checklists and timelines to ensure all aspects of the deal progress smoothly.
Coordinating and assisting with the closing process, including the preparation of closing documents, the resolution of issues, and the management of escrow arrangements.
Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda, as needed.
Interacting with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and other parties to gather and disseminate information.
Maintaining and organizing legal files and databases to ensure efficient retrieval of information.
Staying updated with the latest changes in real estate law and finance, and applying this knowledge to current cases and transactions.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in the Real Estate Finance sector.
A Paralegal certification or equivalent qualification.
Extensive knowledge and experience in real estate transactions, real estate law, title, financing, escrow, and real estate finance.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non‑legal personnel.
Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
A high level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
