Our team is working with a leading investment firm seeking a
Traveling Personal Assistant (PA)
to join the Founder’s personal family office. This is a highly dynamic role requiring extensive travel, physical stamina, discretion, and the ability to seamlessly support the Principal in both professional and personal settings. The PA will work closely with the Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant as part of a core support team. THE ROLE
This position involves significant travel and hands‑on support across multiple residences and destinations. The PA will act as the “ground truth” for real‑time needs, ensuring smooth execution of plans and adapting quickly to changes. Travel Support & Logistics: Accompany Principal on extensive travel (approx. 400 flight hours annually, primarily private jet). Manage on‑the‑ground logistics across multiple both domestic and international locations. Coordinate itineraries, adjust bookings (flights, trains, ferries), and ensure seamless transitions. Handle luggage and physical movement tasks. Lifestyle & Personal Support: Provide discreet assistance during social outings, ensuring comfort and safety. Run errands and fulfill unique requests (e.g., sourcing rare items, arranging trainers abroad). Support family and group trips, interacting respectfully with children (ages 8–13) without caregiving responsibilities. Coordination & Administration: Maintain organization and urgency in handling requests and updates. Execute administrative tasks related to travel and personal arrangements with precision. THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is calm, discreet, and highly adaptable, with strong organizational skills and proven experience in travel coordination. Requirements
Active passport with no travel restrictions;

(comfortable driving internationally). Familiarity with private jet travel. Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (lifting luggage, moving quickly through airports). Personality fit is key: honest, direct, and discreet. Observant and reliable in social settings. THE COMP/BENEFITS
Annual discretionary bonus (10–20%), including summer completion bonus. 401(k) with 3% match. 10 PTO days + 5 sick days (scheduled around travel commitments). WORK ENVIRONMENT
Extensive travel: up to 2 months continuously in summer; frequent long weekends and holidays. Approximately 6 months per year based in New York (Tribeca office and Greenwich CT home). Collaboration with household staff and family office team. Flexibility for remote work during quieter periods. Joss Search is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer, passionately supporting and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. We are committed to building an inclusive culture, respecting our individual differences and bringing our community together.
