Working across Amazon’s Global Media and Entertainment portfolio, Creator Services leads key partnerships with artists, athletes, podcasters, authors, streamers, and more. The team operates at the intersection of content, commerce, and culture—managing partnerships that can only happen at Amazon’s scale.
Key responsibilities
Establish, manage, and grow strong senior‑level relationships with talent agencies and content creators
Run the opportunity evaluation process, including vetting of opportunities for strategic fit, intake of cross‑functional inputs, penning deal memos, constructing financial models, and securing internal approvals
Execute new deals and renewals, including negotiation, financial analysis, forecasting, technical requirements, and cross‑department signoffs
Learn and be curious about customer and partner needs (both existing and potential), using that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of creator partnerships that unlock advertiser value and provide Amazon customers with unparalleled entertainment
Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience
10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
Experience in media licensing models, evaluation metrics and deal terms
7+ years of business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances experience in digital content, entertainment, or creator economy sectors
7+ years of experience building and managing senior‑level relationships with talent agencies, management companies, or content creators
Experience leading end‑to‑end deal execution including financial modeling, contract negotiation, and securing executive‑level approvals
Experience developing scalable mechanisms and processes that accelerate deal velocity across multiple business units
Deep knowledge of the creator economy landscape, including emerging platforms, talent representation structures, and industry compensation benchmarks
Experience working in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments where you've invented new partnership frameworks or deal structures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience converting insights into strategy and communicating complex ideas clearly and logically in written communication
Experience managing a large number of account relationships and deals simultaneously, ideally related to media/entertainment
Experience with end‑to‑end ownership of major project deliverables
Experience negotiating license or business development agreements
Proven track record of independently driving multi‑million dollar partnership agreements from opportunity identification through close
10+ years of experience in creator partnerships, talent relations, or digital content business development with demonstrated progression
MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, or related field
Experience building financial models that forecast partnership ROI and inform strategic investment decisions
Track record of identifying and closing transformational partnerships that unlock new revenue streams or customer experiences
Demonstrated ability to influence and secure buy‑in from VP and SVP‑level stakeholders across legal, finance, product, and operations teams
Salary and Benefits Base salary range: USA, CA, Culver City – $165,800.00 to $224,200.00 annually; USA, NY, New York – $182,300.00 to $246,700.00 annually.
Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
