Sequence has been exclusively retained by one of the most respected and established residential options and design support groups in Southern California to identify an Options Coordinator for their West Coast operations.
Opportunities with this organization are rare. This opening is the result of a long-tenured team member’s retirement — a testament to the strength of their culture and internal stability.
Our client supports some of the most well-known and luxury home builders and developers throughout Southern California. Acting as the outsourced options arm for select builder partners, they design, build, and manage complete residential option programs — from catalog architecture and pricing integrity to subcontract finish coordination and builder system integration.
This is a key highly visible growth opportunity role within a disciplined, collaborative, and design-forward team.
Remote within PST (Southern California preferred) with occasional travel to client sites or work functions within the region.
The Opportunity This role supports the head of department and internal design teams by managing the operational backbone of builder option programs.
The position is detail-oriented and systems-focused, involving:
Building and maintaining option catalogs within builder systems
Creating and updating option look books (InDesign / Illustrator)
Reading architectural plans to understand option relationships
Processing change orders and issuing purchase orders
Tracking deadlines and option cut-off dates
Verifying vendor pricing and maintaining documentation
Communicating with builder coordinators and internal teams
Supporting process improvements and internal system training

Ideal Background
2–5 years of builder or design center options experience/exposure or related products background desired, but not required.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or Illustrator (Photoshop helpful)
Experience reading architectural plans
Highly organized and comfortable working across multiple systems
Professional communicator with strong documentation discipline
Salary: $27 - $30 per hour base salary
Extensive Performance-based bonus opportunity of up to significant % amount of salary annually
Remote flexibility within PST
