Summary The Vice President of Foodservice Sales is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving revenue growth, shaping sales strategy, and leading high performing teams across foodservice channels. This role typically oversees major customer segments—including distributors and operator networks—while steering market expansion, managing broker relationships, and executing joint business plans. This position oversees the Foodservicesales team, sets ambitious performance goals, and ensures alignment with the company’s vision and objectives.

Develops and implements Foodservice strategies to drive sales growth and market share.
Oversees the management of Foodservice operations, including distributor performance, broker management, promotional activity, and customer experience.
Collaborates with Marketing, Research & Development and Category Managers in developing a sales and pricing strategy for new and existing products.
Fosters a high-performance culture by setting clear objectives and targets, measuring outcomes, and providing ongoing coaching to the sales leadership team; monitors sales performance metrics and implements corrective actions when necessary to ensure goals are met.
Leads and mentors a team of Foodservice managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Optimizes the sales process and ensures operational excellence across all Foodservice locations.
Analyzes market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.
Manages the Foodservice budget, ensuring financial targets are met, and resources are allocated effectively.
Analyzes sales data to prepare forecasts, reports, and recommendations for the executive leadership team, including identifying cost‑saving opportunities without compromising customer experience or sales goals.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

This is an exempt position with an annualized salary range of $200,000 to $260,000. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Full time employees may be eligible for discretionary/performance-based incentives, medical, dental and vision insurance plans, optional HRA/HSA, telemedicine, employee assistance and wellness programs, long‑term disability, basic life and AD&D, and 401(k) with a company match, paid time off, 10 paid holidays each year, and paid parental leave. For full-time employees, the initial paid time off benefit starts at 20 days per year, adjusted commensurate with relevant experience. Commuter and transit programs are also available.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in Foodservice management and sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
A minimum of 5 years of food manufacturing industry experience.
A valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel within the United States, up to 35%.
Preferred Education and Experience
MBA or other advanced degrees.
Experience in the food manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of Foodservice technology and e‑commerce platforms.
Experience with international Foodservice operations.
Strong network within the Foodservice and seafood industries.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving Foodservice performance.
Deep understanding of the sales process and the ability to coach salespeople.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
This is a remote position based in the United States. Travel to the Support Center in Seattle, WA will be required on a periodic basis for meetings and training. Travel to various Foodservice customer locations will be required, up to 35%.
In‑office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time at a desk. Frequently required to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee will occasionally stand, walk, and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision for frequent use of a computer.
