Position Summary
The Kitchen Steward keeps our hotel kitchen and service areas clean, stocked, and running smoothly. This role supports dish, sanitation, comp service setup, and restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots/pans
Maintain dish station cleanliness and readiness (chemicals, racks, trash, floors)
Collect used plates from hotel floor landings
and return them to dish
Support the restaurant team as needed (stocking, resetting, cleaning support)
Set up, replenish, and break down comp service
Assist with
basic food prep
tasks as assigned (organization, simple prep work)
Requirements
Able to
stand for up to 8 hours
per shift
Able to
lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to
multi-task
in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable moving throughout the hotel (floors/landings)
Reliable attendance and punctuality
What Success Looks Like
Dish never becomes a bottleneck during the dinner rush
Floors/landings are cleared consistently (no plate pileups)
Comp service stays clean, stocked, and guest‑ready
You stay organized, communicate early, and keep standards high
