
Summary
The individual in this role should be familiar with inventory management systems and shipping platforms, someone who can generate and analyze reports that will help us optimize our fulfillment operations. He/she should be able to work both independently and collaboratively with numerous teams. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. Must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times.
Primary Responsibilities
Process customer orders and enter receiving documents, accurately and timely.
Manage incoming calls and emails from customers, associates, and third-party partners professionally, effectively, and calmly.
Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions in the system.
Maintain and update inventory records and invoice customers.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies, track them, and relieve inventory.
Investigate and report any stock issues to management.
Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
Set up new customer accounts in the system and set up Bill of Materials (BOM) for customers.
Create spreadsheets in Excel as needed.
Prepare monthly inventory reports.
Place order requests for supplies and materials as needed.
Enthusiastically and unprompted assist other team members in tasks outside core responsibilities to ensure projects are completed to NAP’s quality standards.
Perform any other assigned duties/responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma/GED required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years experience in inventory control, customer service, hospitality, or administrative support.
Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies.
Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
Comfortable delivering frequent direct oral and written feedback.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to multi-task and quickly re-prioritize duties and responsibilities.
Self-starter with capacity to independently spearhead assigned projects with little supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exemplary analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to deal with people in an uplifting manner.
A quick thinker who can research and troubleshoot.
Capacity to meet required goals and timelines.
