Role Overview The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting Detroit residents through both phone‑based and in‑person interactions.
You Will
Handle 50–100 inbound calls per day from customers seeking information on available properties
Assist walk‑in visitors face to face with applications, property details, and program information
Provide guidance on navigating the website and online property portal
Transfer calls to internal departments as needed (very minimal outbound calling)
Support faith‑based organizations and nonprofits seeking to join community partnership programs
Learn and communicate program details clearly and professionally
