Expected pay for this position is $53.71 - $71.16/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview POSITION SUMMARY:
The Strategic Program Director, Destination OSF serves as the operational, strategic, and coordination lead for the development and execution of the Destination OSF initiative—OSF HealthCare’s multi year transformation strategy. The role ensures alignment across clinical, operational, strategy, performance improvement, and innovation partners to support the execution of a systemwide 10 year Destination OSF strategy. The Strategic Program Director serves as a key connector between Strategy, PI, Innovation, HR, and senior leadership to ensure clarity of scope, roles, cadence, milestones, and governance. The role manages overall workstream integration, monitors progress against strategic goals, ensures cross functional communication, escalates barriers to executive sponsors as needed and supports the change leadership required to achieve program outcomes.
Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, healthcare operations, business management or administration, or another relevant field or High school diploma/GED and 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in business, healthcare, innovation, or a related field in lieu of degree
Experience:
5 years of healthcare experience
5 years of progressive experience in strategy execution, transformation, or operational leadership within a complex organization
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional, enterprise-level initiatives in a healthcare environment
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, financial drivers, and regulatory environment
Ability to adapt communication style for executives, physicians, clinical leaders, and technical teams
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and manage competing priorities Knowledge of portfolio, program and project management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Formal leadership or people management experience
Experience leading strategic execution of transformational efforts
Experience in or with an Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, Strategy Office, or Transformation Office
