Act as a welcoming host, serve as the best source of information for members, and foster an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Core Purpose:
To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners. Responsibilities: Warmly greet members and guests, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Share comprehensive information about gym services, programs, and membership options. Promptly and professionally handle member inquiries, concerns, and complaints. Efficiently check in members and guests using our gym's management software. Manage check-in alerts and notifications effectively. Maintain a clean, organized front desk area stocked with essential supplies. Process payments for memberships, classes, and retail offerings. Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all. Oversee inventory levels for coolers, beverages, and other items while tracking sales performance. Conduct gym walks to ensure a clean and well-maintained facility, including locker room and bathroom checks. Qualifications: Experience in customer service or a front desk role is preferred. A background or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer-focused mindset. Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Office and familiar with gym management software. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Adhere to all current company policies and standard operating procedures. Ability to navigate a gym setting and communicate with employees, members, and the public effectively. Must be able to bend routinely and lift items over 40 lbs. Competence in accessing and using company computer systems for document preparation, data entry, and report retrieval.
