Responsibilities
Greet customers and technicians promptly and professionally.
Identify and locate the correct parts using electronic catalog systems.
Provide accurate pricing and availability information.
Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
Receive, inspect, and shelve incoming parts shipments.
Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs.
Ensure the parts counter and storage areas are clean and organized.
Assist in conducting regular inventory audits.
Stay up to date with parts programs, promotions, and recalls.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
Qualifications
Prior experience in automotive parts sales, preferably at a GM dealership.
Familiarity with GM parts catalog systems (e.g., GlobalConnect, EPC).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to multitask and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, inventory software).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or automotive training is a plus.
