Share this job:Share Inside Sales Proactive Representative with a friend via e-mailOur Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesMettler Toledo is seeking to hire an Inside Sales Representative for its Columbus, Ohio location providing proactive support to Lab and Industrial customers. You will primarily support our Field Sales organization, actively prospecting to create field-organized fields sales visits and online meetings within high target accounts. Collaborating with our marketing, field, and management teams to better serve customer needs, which will result in higher sales revenue.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Use outbound prospecting skills to find relevant contacts within high-target accounts.* Actively mine for account for visits and online meetings for the Field Sales Rep within target field accounts.* Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers* Build and maintain strong business relationships with our field sales reps in an effort to plan, strategize and coordinate penetration plans for accounts within your region.* Lead generation through contact with customers* Assure database integrity by validating and correcting the data housed within our CRM at every practical opportunity* Assist team lead and senior management by providing weekly updates about recurring business issues* Overall general and technical knowledge and application of the Laboratory & Industrial business area's product lines and service offerings* In-depth knowledge of all internal applications related to lab sales and marketing, including but not limited to SAP CRM and ECC* A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required* A minimum of 1 year experience in sales, customer service and/or marketing is required* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs* A preference for work in a fast-paced sales environment* Inbound or outbound call center experience or worked in a sales development role before is a plus* Experience using SAP's CRM system is a plus* Medical, dental and vision care coverage and a 401(k) savings plan with company matching – all starting on date of hire* Tuition reimbursement, employee wellness programs, plus other perks and discounts* Parental and caregiver leave policies* All the usual benefits such as paid time off, flexible spending, short-and long-term disability, basic life insurance, business travel insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and domestic partner benefits* Global market strength and worldwide leadership in weighing* A brand name that is identified worldwide with precision, quality, and innovation* Thousands of patents, design and innovation awards* A commitment to extraordinary service on our state-of-the-art equipmentPreferred LocationOhioShare this job:Share Inside Sales Proactive Representative with a friend via e-mail #J-18808-Ljbffr
