Marketing Coordinator – Business Development
Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24‑hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services.
Position Summary Responsible for the development and implementation of business and marketing plans for the facility. Leads efforts to manage, monitor, and influence the hospital’s community reputation through referral source surveys, patient surveys, and community outreach. Participates in the marketing plan process through market research, market analysis, and marketing tactics. Works on new and existing facility programs and participates in the department’s continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
80% Travel Required.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement business and marketing plans for the facility.
Manage, monitor, and influence the hospital’s community reputation.
Conduct referral source surveys, patient surveys, and community outreach.
Perform market research, market analysis, and develop marketing tactics.
Support new and existing facility programs.
Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate’s degree required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience in Marketing, Business Development, and Public Health.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, medical terminology, and electronics (e.g., cellphone, MS4, electronic processes).
