Job Title: Art Director. Contract: W2 – Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a W2 basis. We cannot accept candidates requiring sponsorship or those from C2C vendors. Duration: 6 months with possible multi-year extension/s. Pay: Negotiable. Hours: Part-Time, 20 hours/week – Flexible work time. Location: ON-SITE, Grand Rapids, MI; local candidates only. We are seeking a Part-Time Art Director to drive brand continuity and creative excellence across the organization. This role collaborates with internal teams and external agency partners to ensure all creative work aligns with brand standards and delivers a cohesive customer experience. The Art Director will flex across the full creative development process—from shaping brand strategy to overseeing final delivery tactics—and will touch product brands, go-to-market campaigns, education and training, sales, and recognition programs to improve the return on creative investment and amplify impact across brands and channels. Key Responsibilities
Brand Stewardship: Maintain and enforce brand standards across all creative outputs, ensuring consistency and continuity throughout the organization. Creative Development: Contribute to ideation, concept development, and execution of campaigns, assets, and experiences across multiple touchpoints. Cross-Organizational Collaboration: Work with teams across product marketing, education, sales, and recognition to deliver integrated creative solutions. Agency Partnership: Collaborate with external agencies to ensure alignment with brand strategy and creative objectives. Customer Experience Alignment: Help connect creative efforts across channels to create a seamless and impactful customer journey. Strategic Input: Provide creative insights during brand and campaign strategy discussions, translating them into compelling visual executions. Performance Impact: Drive creative solutions that improve engagement, strengthen brand equity, and maximize ROI on creative investments. Qualifications
Experience: 7–10 years in marketing or communications, preferably within an internal corporate creative team. Creative Expertise: Deep understanding of brand systems, visual identity, and multi-channel creative execution. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere), Figma, and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Keynote). Ability to work across the creative process—from strategy to production. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams. Experience managing external creative partners is a plus. What We Offer
