Role Summary The OH.io movement includes multiple interconnected pillars:

A flagship brand and digital presence

A go-to-market engine supporting founders and companies

A physical innovation hub with coworking, events, and year-round programming

A global-scale annual festival celebrating entrepreneurship, technology, and culture

We are early, ambitious, and building in public. Social is a core storytelling and growth channel for everything we do. We are looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes social strategy, understands how tech culture moves online, and is excited to build and scale a portfolio of brands from the ground up. This role will start with owning the OH.io social channels and quickly expand to managing social strategy and execution across multiple brands and initiatives under the OH.io movement. You will help define voice, build momentum, grow communities, and translate real-world experiences into compelling digital narratives. This role will shape how the world experiences the OH.io movement as it grows, from the first post to a global festival and beyond. You will have real ownership, creative freedom, and the opportunity to build something that scales far beyond a single brand.

Key Responsibilities

Own and Scale Social Strategy

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for OH.io, aligned with brand, growth, and community goals

Expand and adapt that strategy across new brands and initiatives as they launch under the OH.io movement

Manage a growing portfolio of social channels across platforms including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and future channels as needed

Create and Publish Compelling Content

Plan, create, and publish original content including short-form video, static posts, carousels, threads, and stories

Translate events, programming, launches, and in-person moments into engaging social-first content

Partner with internal teams to capture content at the physical space, events, and an annual festival

Build Community and Engagement

Actively engage with founders, operators, investors, creators, and partners online

Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a way that feels human, timely, and on-brand

Identify opportunities to collaborate with creators, community members, and ecosystem partners

Manage Editorial and Brand Consistency

Own social content calendars across multiple brands and initiatives

Maintain consistent voice, tone, and visual identity while adapting for different audiences and platforms

Work closely with brand, design, and events teams to ensure cohesive storytelling

Measure, Learn, and Iterate

Track performance across platforms and brands, using insights to refine strategy

Experiment with formats, posting cadence, and platform-specific trends

Share learnings and recommendations with the broader team

Qualifications

4+ years of experience managing social media for brands, startups, media companies, or tech organizations

Demonstrated experience building and scaling social presence across multiple platforms

Comfortable using modern social and automation tools to streamline workflows, schedule and repurpose content, track performance, and scale social media efforts efficiently across multiple brands and channels

Strong content creation skills, especially short-form video and social-first storytelling

Experience managing content calendars and juggling multiple priorities or brands

Familiarity with social analytics and performance tracking tools

Bonus: experience covering live events, festivals, or community-driven brands

You love social media and understand how strategy, creativity, and timing intersect

You are deeply interested in startups, entrepreneurship, AI, and emerging technologies

You are excited by the idea of managing multiple brands and narratives at once

You are comfortable building from zero and iterating in public

You have strong editorial instincts and a sharp eye for what will resonate online

You are organized, self-directed, and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
