About The Role The Advertising & Communications Coordinator supports digital marketing efforts, agency communications, and broader Advertising & Communications initiatives across Hastings. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate data, executing clear agency communications, supporting ROI analysis, and managing promotional items that support business goals. It is well-suited for a detail‑oriented marketing professional who enjoys coordination, analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Location & Schedule
This position will work in a hybrid format at our Hastings, MI corporate headquarters.
This role will generally work within our standard office hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, however work may occur at times outside of these hours.
What You’ll Do
Support agency management communications by maintaining accurate and consistent contact data across systems to ensure effective outreach and campaign performance.
Provide and maintain targeted upsell lists while ensuring proper compliance and execution to support sales initiatives.
Participate in advertising and marketing test or pilot programs and assist with reviewing results and reporting on ROI.
Research, develop, and execute clear, concise, and accurate agency bulletin content, including product updates, assignments, and organizational changes.
Ensure all written communications are professional, grammatically sound, and aligned with Hastings’ messaging standards.
Lead the identification and selection of promotional items that support key business functions and marketing initiatives.
Manage promotional item inventory while adhering to budget guidelines and operational needs.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost‑effective procurement.
Actively participate in professional development and continuous learning.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

What You’ll Bring
Associate degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or Mass Media.
One to three years of experience in digital marketing analysis or related work.
Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Smartsheet, and similar systems.
Comfort working with technical data, lists, and reporting tools.
