Graphic Designer

This role will be required to work in office 5 days per week in one of our locations in either Cleveland, OH or Chicago, IL

Applicants must submit a portfolio with relevant work along with their resume.

Responsibilities

Concept and design a wide variety of creative assets to support marketing efforts for The Sherwin-Williams Company family of brands including (but not limited to): print, digital, social/display, email, and other ad hoc requests.

Ensure communications are on brand and compelling to the target audience(s).

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marketing best practices and brand standards.

Collaborate with copywriters and other internal teams to develop and optimize messaging, looking for opportunities to elevate brand and create higher levels of engagement with customers.

Work with project managers to establish timelines and coordinate feedback from the talent acquisition team.

Manage, update, archive and maintain graphic files and assets.

Manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or art direction.

Knowledge & Experience Required

3+ years of design experience.

Strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital creative.

Strong verbal and written skills.

Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative work style.

Proven track record of delivering creative excellence.

Preferred

Experience with Adobe Workfront.

Technical / Skill Requirements Required

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
