What you’ll be doing:
Develop complex component-level designs within larger system assemblies using CAD tools
Collaborate with engineers to evaluate design feasibility for functionality and manufacturability
Interpret and apply design criteria, standards, and customer requirements to CAD models
Coordinate and distribute design assignments across global design and engineering teams
Maintain and manage prioritized design task lists to meet program milestones and deadlines
Participate in program and design reviews to support product development activities
Ensure CAD file integrity aligns with internal and customer design standards
Format and manage CAD data, drawings, and documentation per required specifications
Need to have:
High school diploma or GED
Experience with automotive design
Advanced knowledge of drafting standards, layouts, detailing, GD&T, and checking procedures
Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, specifically injection-molded components
Proficiency with OEM data management systems such as Teamcenter
